What is epistemic truth? How do you know that what you know is true? How to fight information disorders such as fake news or conspiracy theories? Are strong educational background, high literacy level, good sourcing abilities or reasoning skills protecting us from being gullible? What are the links between emotions, knowledge, partisanship and truthfulness? Are there specific types of interventions that could improve critical thinking and decrease credulity?
We are pleased to announce that after a covid-induced break the annual conference Psycholinguistic in Flanders will be back next year. The conference aims at bringing together young researchers interested in various aspects of language who take different approaches (psychological, neurocognitive, linguistic, computational) to studying it.
