We are looking for a Cognitive Psychologist, broadly defined, who uses an experimental approach and works with human subjects. The successful candidate will be an excellent researcher, teacher, mentor, and colleague. This position requires an earned doctorate in Psychology. Teaching duties will include Learning and Cognition, Sensation and Perception, Human Cognition, an advanced course in the applicant’s area of expertise, and contributions to our team-taught second-year course. The ability to teach Introduction to Statistics is also desirable. The Department of Psychology emphasizes excellence in teaching. Research expectations include the development of a robust, externally funded research program and graduate student supervision.
