The Rector of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow has announced a competitive selection process for the post of Assistant Professor in the research staff member group at the Copernicus Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of the Jagiellonian University in the domain of research on mathematical cognition and/or mathematics learning /education. A new Assistant Professor will conduct their research within the Mathematical Cognition and Learning Lab which recently emerged within the Excellence Initiative-Jagiellonian University (PI: Mateusz Hohol).

We ignore the underlying age-related changes in emotion-cognition interactions. To address this issue, we shall test the original strategic variations hypothesis : effects of emotion on cognition are mediated by differences in strategies and in how participants use, execute, and select strategies.
