The Basque Center on Cognition Brain and Language (BCBL) in San Sebastian (Basque Country, Spain) is offering a 2-year funded Post-Doctoral opportunity. The post-doctoral fellow will work on a research project within the Consciousness research group.
We are seeking excellent candidates with experience in running psychophysics experiments and also neuroimaging knowledge (fMRI and/or M/EEG) to carry out research in the areas of visual consciousness and perceptual metacognition. The selected candidate must have excellent programming skills for experimental purposes using Python. Experience using machine learning and state-or-the-art computational models would be a plus.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop original experiments under the supervision and guidance of the PI. The candidate must have excellent organization and communication skills to contribute towards the dissemination of the results at international scientific conferences (presentations/posters) and peer-reviewed journals.
