Ph.D. position in metamemory, University of Mannheim, Germany

Ph.D. position for a project to examine how well people can metacognitively monitor different cognitive processes. Project will combine cognitive modeling with metamemory questions. Position is part of our Statistical Modeling in Psychology (SMiP) graduate training program through which hands-on courses on cognitive modeling will be offered. Ph.D. student will become a member of Prof. dr. dr. dr. Beatrice Kuhlmann's Cognitive Psychology and Cognitive Aging lab at the University of Mannheim in Germany. Co-supervisor will be Prof. dr. dr . Arndt Broder (also U Mannheim). No teaching duties (but can gain teaching experience if wanted). German language skills are not required;SMiP course program and main language in the lab is English.
