We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate (or Post-doc) with an interest in language production / learning and expertise in designing behavioural experiments and/or computational models (naive discrimination learning, dynamic models).
The position is funded by a research grant from the German Research Foundation. The position is for 26 hours of work per week (65%) and will initially be limited to 22 months.
The candidate will join the Cognitive Science: Language and Methods lab. The lab studies the cognitive architecture of the language production and comprehension systems and their links with other cognitive functions using a variety of methods and measurements: response times, eye-tracking, EEG, corpus data. We have a dedicated interest in applied statistics (machine learning, bayesian models, linear mixed-effects models, etc.) and attach great importance to open science practices.
Application deadline: 31 July 2023, until filled
