The unit of cognitive psychology (Prof. Dr. Tilo Strobach) is offering a three-year PhD position (65%) focused on ”Cognitive training effects across the adult lifespan: A diffusion modeling approach”. This project is part of the OTA grant with the same name and is in cooperation with Claudia von Bastian (University of Sheffield) and Sylvie Belleville (University of Montreal). The goal of this project is to investigate the mechanisms of cognitive training with a focus on training interventions targeting processing speed and attentional control, by applying diffusion modeling. The investigation of these mechanisms is realized across the lifespan.
