PhD position on "The role of neurally active representations for cognition", Department of Psychology, University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland

The successful applicant will work with Prof. Klaus Oberauer on a project together with Prof. Ed Awh (University of Chicago) entitled: “Clarifying the cognitive role of neurally active representations in working memory”. The PhD position is funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation. The research project will use behavioral and EEG experiments as well as individual-differences studies to investigate the function of neurally active representations. 

We are looking for a person with an MSc (or equivalent) in psychology or a related discipline, with experience in experimental research and a strong methods background.
