Does your engagement with the world drive your visual perception? And in what ways? In this project we want to unravel the interaction between cognition, emotion and perception by studying neural correlates of visual perception within different task-settings and emotional contexts.

The Nexus Emergent Attention Lab headed by Prof. Leonardo Chelazzi of the University of Verona is searching for a Postdoctoral Researcher interested in studying the behavioural and neurophysiological correlates of visuo-spatial attention. 

We invite expressions of interest for a forthcoming 2-year postdoctoral position, starting early 2024, in the context of the project "The world in words". The project, led by Marco Marelli (University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy) and Luca Rinaldi (University of Pavia, Italy), aims at investigating the impact of linguistic experience on spatial and attentional processes, combining cognitive modelling with experimental approaches from psychology and neuroscience.
