We are seeking a 3-year Postdoctoral Research Associate to contribute to an exciting project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The project “Strategy training to support healthy cognitive ageing: behavioural, neuroimaging, and real-world investigations” will commence in October 2023. The RA will be based at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, working with Principal Investigator (PI) Dr Louise Brown Nicholls and the Co-Investigators Dr Mario Parra Rodriguez (Strathclyde), Dr Richard Allen, Dr Melanie Burke (University of Leeds), and Dr Claudia von Bastian (University of Sheffield). We are seeking expertise in cognitive psychology (especially memory and attention) and, ideally, cognitive ageing. The role will require experience with quantitative research methods, particularly experimental techniques, and of associated statistical analyses. Additionally, experience with relevant software for generating and conducting experiments (e.g. E-Prime, PsychoPy) is needed. Informal enquiries may be directed to Dr Louise Nicholls.
