Tenured Research Engineer, Université de Paris, Department of Psychology, LaPsyDÉ, Paris, France

The Laboratory of Developmental Psychology and Child Education is seeking to appoint a tenured research engineer (‘Ingénieur de Recherche’) funded by the CNRS. 

LaPsyDÉ is an interdisciplinary research Institute whose mission is to understand the brain bases of cognitive development and learning and translate this knowledge to inform better educational opportunities. LaPsyDÉ hosts, at its La Sorbonne site, a high-density EEG, a fNRIS, two eye-trackers, and it has direct access to brain imaging facilities. The ideal candidate must have an engineer degree or a Ph.D. in computational science, cognitive neuroscience, brain imaging, physics, applied mathematics or related fields and should have substantial experience in quantitative research methods and strong computational skills. Prior experience in statistical and programming languages (MATLAB, R, Python) is required. Expertise with brain imaging data analysis and signal processing is highly desirable. Good level of English is required.
