The ULB Neuroscience Institute International PhD Program in Neuroscience, Université libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium

The ULB Neuroscience Institute (UNI), located at the Université libre de Bruxelles offers a dynamic and diverse research environment in all fields of neuroscience, from molecular and cellular neurobiology to systems and neurophysiology, from cognitive neuroscience to clinical research. UNI offers an International PhD Program in Neuroscience. Successful recipients will be supported through a PhD Fellowship covering living expenses, social security, and tuition. They will have the opportunity to work in a top UNI laboratory of their choice, in a stimulating and diverse environment aligned with the highest International standards and comprising state of the art facilities.

Highly qualified candidates with a deep commitment to neuroscience research are invited to apply. Applicants should hold an MSc degree (or equivalent) in relevant disciplines.

We are looking for applicants for a two-year (potentially three-year) postdoctoral position at Ghent University to work with us on the ERC project CoCoFlex, investigating the contextual modulation and selective reinforcement of cognitive flexibility. Candidates should have a PhD and, ideally, have a background in research on cognitive flexibility, cognitive control, reinforcement learning, or decision making. We are mostly interested in studying behaviour, in combination with computational modeling or fMRI. However, depending on the interests and strengths of the candidate, other methods can be considered as well.
