Psycholinguistics in Flanders

Pavia, Italy
12-13 May 2026

We are very happy to announce that the new edition of Psycholinguistics in Flanders (PiF) will take place in Pavia, Italy on the 12th-13th of May 2026! As always, PiF aims to be a welcoming and collaborative meeting for language scientists, and we will continue the tradition of highlighting the work of early-career researchers by giving them generous space in the program and opportunities for supportive, constructive feedback. At the same time, we encourage researchers at all career internships to participate, as we believe that the conference thrives precisely because of the rich mix of perspectives and the dialogue between junior and senior researchers.

We welcome contributions from across the language sciences, including psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics, linguistics, and the psychology of language, and we embrace a wide range of methodological approaches (experimental, computational, corpus-based, neurophysiological and more). We're also happy to share that the conference website is now live and abstract submission is open! On the website you can find all relevant information, including submission guidelines, keynote speakers and practical details.
