ESCoP Sheffield - post conference survey raffle winners

Joint ESCoP – CoPM meeting

Dear colleagues, we are thrilled to invite researchers and students from all around the world to join us for the 2026 Joint Meeting of the European Society for Cognitive Psychology and the Cognitive Processes and Modelling Division of Chinese Psychological Society, which will be held between 31st August and 4th September, 2026 in the city of Hangzhou, known as the ‘Paradise on Earth’.

ESCoP Thematic Meetings 2026: Call for proposals

ESCoP invites applications for sponsoring one additional thematic meeting scheduled for 2026, offering partial funding of up to 4,000 euros per event. These meetings, organized exclusively by ESCoP members, should focus on research areas relevant to the Society and be limited to 60 participants, with at least 50% of senior attendees being ESCoP members. Student participation will also be considered in the evaluation. Submit proposals to ESCoP Secretary Andrei Costea by September 30th, 2025.

ESCoP Thematic Meetings 2026: Winner Announcement

The ESCoP is thrilled to announce that we will sponsor the 11th European Working Memory Symposium (EWoMS 2026)! EWoMS is a recurring, high-profile event dedicated to the study of working memory, taking place every two years in rotating European locations. The 2026 edition is scheduled to be held in Lyon, France, from August 26th to 28th. This edition’s theme will be — Working Memory, Strategy, and Consciousness and the keynote speaker will be Alessandra Souza from Porto University.

ESCoP Early Career Publication Awards 2025

The ESCoP's 2025 Early Career Publication Award for postdoctoral researchers goes to Luca Moretti for their publication “Moretti, L., Koch, I., Hornjak, R., & von Bastian, CC (2025). Quality over quantity: Focusing on high-conflict trials to improve the reliability and validity of attentional control measures. Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition". 
The ESCoP's 2025 Early Career Publication Award for Ph.D. students goes to Olesia Platonova for their publication “Platonova, O., & Miklashevsky, A. (2025). Warm and fuzzy: Perceptual semantics can be activated even during shallow lexical processing. Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition".
