Faculty Position in Cognitive Psychology, The American University in Cairo, New Cairo, Egypt

We are searching for a cognitive psychologist who enjoys teaching and has a track record of research. Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or related fields. Established in 1919, AUC is one of the oldest U.S.-accredited universities worldwide. The University provides a collegial environment with faculty mentoring; generous grant support for conference travel and research; bright and engaged students; and a beautiful, state-of-the-art campus on the outskirts of Cairo.

The candidate will have the opportunity to teach cognitive psychology, develop specialized courses related to their expertise, and contribute to the recently launched undergraduate minor in Behavioral Neuroscience, as relevant. Applications are invited for a postdoctoral research position in Geneva (Switzerland), with flexible start date between May and September 2026 (90%, up to 2.5 years).
