We are looking for a PhD student to join our team starting July 1st, 2026. The successful applicant will work with Prof. Klaus Oberauer on a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation entitled “Modeling Visual Working Memory”. The project's goal is to understand how visual working memory works through behavioral experiments and computational modeling. Applicants must have an MSc or equivalent in Psychology (ideally from a Bologna-compatible 2-year program), experience with experimental research, strong methods skills, and a good command of English. Programming skills (R, Matlab, Python, JavaScript) would be desirable.
