Position for a postdoctoral researcher at the Université libre de Bruxelles, Brussels, Belgium

Adélaïde de Heering (lullaby, CRCN) is hiring a postdoc for 1.5 years to investigate infants’ active exploration mechanisms and the development of curiosity. They will recruit, test, interpret, and write about infants’ data collected from behavioural and EEG measurements. 

Applicants (will soon) hold a PhD in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Sciences, or related. They have lived and worked outside of Belgium for more than 12 of the 36 months immediately preceding the start of the contract, and defended their PhD thesis since max. 8 years. They show an excellent academic track record, interest to supervise master students, and speak English and French. Experience in infant testing (0-3 years) using behavioral and/or physiological measures, and programming (e.g., Python, Matlab), is appreciated. Net salary in line with Belgian legislation, including social and medical benefits.
