Postdoctoral Position at McGill University, Montreal, Canada

The Attention & Social Cognition Lab at McGill University invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team under the direction of Professor Jelena Ristic. Our lab , located in the Department of Psychology at McGill University in the heart of Montreal, Canada, explores cutting-edge questions in social perception, cognition, and interactive (group) cognition using behavioral, neuroimaging (EEG), and eye-tracking methods.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to collaborate and develop new projects at the intersection of social and cognitive neuroscience. An overview of our ongoing research and recent publications is available on the lab website.

Our group has a strong record of high-level research and training and consists of a vibrant and collaborative team of postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, undergraduates, and visitors. We recently relocated to a new, spacious, and modern lab space, fully equipped to support innovative and high-impact research. Our key resources include dual mobile EEG systems and dual eye-tracking eyeglasses for studying real-time social interaction in dynamic settings, a high-density stationary EEG system, and a high precision EyeLink eye-tracker for fine-grained measurement of visual and cognitive processes.

Qualifications: PhD in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, or a related field; Experience with EEG, neuroimaging, and/or eye tracking methodologies; Strong programming skills (eg, Matlab, Python, R); Interest in interdisciplinary research on social and interactive cognition and cognitive neuroscience.

Appointment: Initial term of one year, with the possibility of renewal. Salary: Commensurate with McGill University guidelines. Start date: Flexible.

For inquiries and to apply, please email Jelena Ristic. Please include your CV, the expected date of availability, and a short statement of research interests.
