Research Assistant/ PhD Student (75% TV-L 13) in Cognitive Psychology, University of Trier, Trier, Germany

PhD Student position (75% TV-L 13) for 3 years, the position ideally starts 01. August 2025. The successful candidate can obtain a PhD in Psychology. The candidate will work in the DFG-funded project “The relation between learning and stimulus/response feature bindings” (principal investigators Christian Frings & Birte Moeller). The project addresses the interface of action control mechanisms and processes of memory formation. 

The project is situated at the Department of Cognitive Psychology of the University of Trier (lab of Prof. C. Frings), which offers an excellent, stimulating work environment and covers a broad range of topics and methods.

A university degree (master or diploma) in psychology as well as very good English skills are required. A background in cognitive psychology would be helpful.
