Horizon Europe Framework Program (HORIZON) Doctoral Networks, 'Bridging Communication Gaps in Human and Human-AI Interactions: The Role of Accented Speech on Neurocognitive mechanisms and Social Dynamics' (HUM.AI.N-ACCENT). The Doctoral Candidates (DCs) will be part of an international network of 13 research labs located throughout Europe who work on the EU funded HUM.AI.N-ACCENT project. The full consortium counts with a total of 24 academic and non-academic partners in Europe, Canada and the USA. As part of the training, the DC will attend regular events across Europe and will realize short stays (secondments) to at least two Beneficiary/Partner Organizations.

The Spoken Language research group at the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language aims to sponsor a candidate for an Inphinit Predoctoral Fellowship, a competitive call for predoctoral fellowships awarded by the La Caixa. Our group studies how humans process the fundamental units of spoken language, focusing on speech sounds and words.

The Italian Reproducibility Network (ITRN) is looking for people who'd like to share their experience with the discovery of Open Science - how this changed your way of doing science, or seeing science, what kind of challenges you had to face and overcome, etc.

We are excited to announce a call for papers for the special issue “Conflict adaptation across single-task and multi-tasking paradigms”, in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning Memory & Cognition. The special issue aims at integrating research on how humans adapt control in response to cognitive conflict across conflict tasks, task-switching and dual-tasking paradigms.

The editors, Penny Pexman, Richard Binney, Veronica Diveica, and Emiko Muraki welcome original empirical research articles, as well as reviews and perspectives. The last date for submissions will be March 10th 2026.
