Addressing gender-based violence in academia - Online seminar

On the occasion of International Women's Month, Women in Cognitive Science-Europe and Royal Holloway University of London, are hosting the online seminar "Addressing Gender-Based Violence in Academia" on Monday,  10th March 2025 (1pm GMT / 2pm CET).

Our invited speaker, Professor Anne Laure Humbert from the University of Gothenburg, is an expert in gender equality metrics and structural change in academia, who will particularly draw on her work in the uniSAFE and genderSAFE EU-funded projects and the recently published SheFigures2024 which, for the first time, provides an indicator measuring EU members' progress towards gender equality. We aim to raise awareness and drive action on gender-based violence by exploring its various forms, the obstacles to reporting and addressing it, and effective strategies for prevention.

Participants will receive an email with a link to join the meeting one day before the event.  For any other questions or issues, please contact wics.europe@gmail.com.
