We are excited to announce that ESCoP is now accepting proposals for the upcoming Summer or Winter Schools to be held in 2026! Whether you're an experienced researcher or an early-career academic, this is a fantastic opportunity to design and lead an innovative event that contributes to the cognitive science community.

What Kind of Events Are We Looking For?
We welcome engaging, in-person summer or winter schools that foster intellectual exchange. Your proposal could focus on workshops, field-specific courses, emerging methodologies, or theoretical discussions—anything that provides a dynamic and enriching experience for participants. Whether your event emphasizes practical skills, theoretical advances, or interdisciplinary collaboration, we encourage creativity in shaping a valuable academic gathering.

When Will These Events Take Place?
The selected Summer or Winter Schools will be held in 2026, with organizers free to choose the season and timeframe that best fits their vision.

How Can the Budget Be Used?
The awarded funds can be used flexibly based on your event's needs—covering speaker fees, venue costs, materials, administrative support. Budget management should comply with your institution's regulations.

Feel free to include text, images, and figures to strengthen your case. Proposals should be submitted to ESCoP Secretary, Dr. Andrei Costea , by April 30, 2025.

What Do Selected Organizers Receive?
In addition to financial support, ESCoP will promote your event via our newsletter and social media. You will also gain access to ESCoP's academic network, with opportunities to collaborate with the Journal of Cognition on a potential special collection of papers linked to your event.
